Welcome!

Welcome to Have Camera, Will Travel, my new blog for sharing my photographic expeditions with friends, family, and landscape and wildlife photography enthusiasts. I hope you'll enjoy reading about my adventures around the world on my quest to visit and photograph all seven continents.

It has been a dream of mine to take pictures on every continent. Living life on the fringe first took me to Kenya and Tanzania in Africa in January of 2011. I was fortunate enough to find internet service available in the middle of the Serengeti desert, and you can find my musings and images from that trip at:

My current expedition takes me to the Antarctic islands and continent with my longtime friend Dean Nations. I am hopeful that I will again find internet access while cruising the southern ocean, and that my travels will reveal to all of you secrets from the brightest and coldest continent.

Man has been venturing to Antarctica for over 200 years, and I am excited to join this lineage of adventurers with a penchant for temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. I'll hopefully have pictures of penguins, seals, albatrosses, whales, and floating mammoth icebergs in the southern ocean to share with all of you.
